Amidst tea plantations and the pygmi cloud forest you have the perfect starting point and access to everything worth seeing in the knuckles mountain range staying in our camp. Our Camp is located on the edge of a dense forest. Just so far to disappear in the dense vegetation and to create a homely jungle feeling.  You can reach camp from Kandy within 1.5 hours and the next small village is about 20 minutes by car. The camp itself has a rustic look which makes it so special.

The main log cabin forms the center of our camp. It includes the kitchen, office, two more sleeping places, a bar and a rustic fireplace.

From there small paths lead to the other houses and social areas. The paths are lined with small petroleum lamps that show the way. One path leads through the dense vegetation and opens surprisingly and it opens up to our view point. Another highlight in our the camp - the outlook is overwhelming.

Next to the log cabin is the dining room. An open area with space to dine and relax. A small library about flora and fauna as well as interesting facts about the country and its people is also available. There is electricity throughout the camp. The cabins are equipped with a private toilet and a hot water shower.

There are countless colorful flowers and interesting plants scattered all over the camp area, and many colorful and unique birds are hidden between the leaves. One of the prominent plants in the camp is cardamon. Cardamom is the world's third-most expensive spice, surpassed in price per weight only by vanilla and saffron. In between and with a bit of luck you can see purple faced leaf monkeys in the trees - some of our special camp visitors. They are only to be found in Sri Lanka and rather shy. A rather regular visitor is the Ceylon jungle fowl. It is our national bird and impresses with its colorful feather dress which unfortunately is reserved only for the males as in most birds. The ladies shine with modesty and are a bit harder to spot between the thick vegetation. It's worth to sit down and find a quiet spot to observe. You will be surprised how many different types of birds are in front of you.
